The Newfoundland Tartan was designed in 1955 by Ted Coleman. The colors are based in part on the lyrics of the Ode To Newfoundland. Red, not mentioned in the Ode, signifies Newfoundland's British origins. The Tartan was registered in 1973.
Comes with 18 count cotton Aida cloth, cotton embroidery floss, embroidery needle and a complete set of instructions.
